How to Export Your AR Stories with Zappar
April 2025
Our learning platform is now live!
April 2025
As the CARS Project EU continues to grow and evolve, much of the work this month has been happening behind the scenes. With school-based implementations well underway and our educators creating exciting AR stories, we thought it was the perfect time to shine a spotlight on one of the tools at the heart of our work: Zappar.
Zappar has been the platform of choice for our project, empowering both teachers and students to bring their stories to life through Augmented Reality. Its user-friendly interface, powerful features, and educational support make it ideal for classrooms that want to embrace innovative digital storytelling.
To help you get the most out of your AR creations, we’ve put together a short guide based on Zappar’s official tutorial on how to export your projects in formats that can be easily shared and accessed in schools:
Export as a QR Code (00:11)
After publishing your AR project on ZapWorks, you can generate a unique QR code. This is ideal for printed classroom materials, posters, or quick scans during activities.
Export as a Direct Link (00:37)
Prefer to share digitally? You can also get a direct WebAR link to your story. Students simply click the link to view your story in their browser—no app needed.
Access via QR Code (01:08)
To view the story, students just scan the QR code using their mobile device’s camera. It opens instantly in the browser, making it quick and intuitive to access.
Access via Direct Link (01:28)
Alternatively, paste the direct link in a class slideshow, email, or learning portal. This is perfect for remote learning or homework assignments.
Zappar’s export tools give teachers total flexibility when it comes to sharing AR content. Whether you're enhancing language lessons or showcasing students' imaginative storytelling, these tools make it simple and effective to integrate AR into your teaching practice.
As we gear up for even more classroom pilots in the months ahead, we encourage all participating educators to explore these options and make the most of the AR experiences built through the CARS Project EU.
Let the stories come to life—one QR code at a time!
