Our learning platform is now live!
September 2025
September was a vibrant month for the CARS Project EU, as partners continued disseminating their work across Europe and beyond. One of the standout moments of the month was our participation in the 4th European Summit of STEAM Educators, organised by the European Association of STEAM Educators (EASE) and held online on September 12–13, 2025.
At this international event, Stella Timotheou from Dimotiko Scholeio Agias Napas–Antoni Tsokkou proudly represented the consortium, presenting the school’s experience of integrating AR into language learning. Her session, “Students Create Their Own AR Stories: An Innovative STEAM Integration into English Learning”, showcased how students became active creators rather than passive consumers, designing interactive AR stories that merged creativity, language practice, and technology.
The presentation received enthusiastic engagement from participants, who praised the CARS Project for its innovative, student-centered approach to combining storytelling and AR. Attendees highlighted how such activities nurture essential 21st-century skills—from critical thinking to digital literacy—while fostering inclusivity and collaboration in the classroom.
Alongside the CARS presentation, several other inspiring initiatives were shared, exploring the intersection of AI, creativity, and digital learning. Projects like AI in the Classroom: An Ally of Knowledge (Italy) and Augmented Reality: A New Dimension for Higher Education (Portugal) resonated strongly with the CARS vision, reflecting a shared commitment to harnessing emerging technologies for meaningful, human-centered education.
Events like these are a cornerstone of Erasmus+ collaboration, giving educators a platform to exchange ideas, celebrate innovation, and collectively shape the future of teaching and learning.
