CARS Multiplier Events Reach Spain
April 2026
Our learning platform is now live!
April 2026
April brought the CARS Project EU's multiplier event programme to Spain, with dissemination activities held on 15 and 16 April. Following the events in Cyprus in February and Malta in March, this marked an important step in sharing the project's work across all three partner countries.
The Spanish programme recorded attendance of 103 across the two dates, extending the reach of the project's work on Augmented Reality and language learning. These events formed part of CARS' commitment to share its experiences with educators beyond the participating schools and encourage wider engagement with creative uses of digital technology.
At the heart of this work is a clear educational aim: enabling children to create and share their own stories through AR. Within this approach, language learning is connected with decisions about characters, settings, dialogue, and how a story unfolds. Teachers support this process by helping children develop their ideas and connect their creative choices with the purpose of the lesson.
The multiplier events provide an important connection between the resources developed through CARS and the wider educational community. Sharing the project's approach gives other educators a starting point for considering how AR storytelling could fit their own language classes, teaching priorities, and students' needs.
Alongside dissemination, work continued towards the project's guidelines on the effective use of AR in schools. Drawing on the earlier classroom implementations and evaluation, this guidance is intended to help teachers make informed choices when introducing AR into storytelling activities.
As April draws to a close, the project moves closer to bringing its final outputs together. A sincere thank you goes to our Spanish partners and everyone who took part in the events, contributing to the wider sharing of CARS across Europe.
